Issue: The new feature to upload trade data directly from Interactive Brokers was released in v3.1.4 of Share Trade Tracker. For some users issues during the "Consolidate" step have been reported. They receive an error message similar to the following and cannot proceed with the upload.

The issue is being caused by a difference in the file format downloaded from Interactive Brokers. For some users a column of data for the file is missing from the report that the upload routine in Share Trade Tracker is expecting.

Affected Version

Share Trade Tracker - All versions

The Chartist - Share Trade Tracker - All versions

Impact: Upload of Interactive Broker trade data cannot be processed.

Workaround: The workaround to process Interactive Broker data involves manually adding a column heading to the file and attempting to re-process the trade data upload.

If your trade data report from Interactive Brokers looks like the following..

Then we need to update it to include the heading "Clearing" in column M and save the file and attempt to re-process it in Share Trade Tracker

The expected heading row should look like...

Resolution: An update to Share Trade Tracker was released on 27th January, 2018 that provided a fix to this issue. It ensures that any format received by specific Interactive Broker users is catered for.  The key columns must be there and they can be in any order.
